Minety Battery Storage Projects

Project Details:

As a leading consultancy firm specializing in the provision of noise impact assessments for Battery Energy Storage Projects, inacoustic is proud to have been involved in the largest battery storage project in the European Union. Our team was tasked with assessing the noise impact of the project at Minety Substation, Wiltshire, which spanned across four phases, with three already built and operational.

We worked closely alongside the local council to ensure that the cumulative impact of all four phases was calculated and analysed to ensure the absence of any adverse impact from the inclusion of multiple sites. Our team utilized state-of-the-art modelling techniques and a keen understanding of industry best practices to deliver sound solutions that accounted for all possible scenarios.

With Inacoustic's involvement, the Minety Substation project proceeded according to plan, with all four sites granted planning permission and delivering real value to customers. At Inacoustic, we are committed to providing innovative and results-driven solutions that help our clients achieve their business goals while minimising environmental and social risk.

The noise assessment involved several stages, including: Baseline noise monitoring, noise modelling, noise mapping and mitigation measures.
