inacoustic conducted a rigorous noise assessment to evaluate the potential impact of the proposed 25MW Battery Storage facility in Blackpool on its neighboring receptors, especially residential areas.
Our expert team diligently assisted Conrad Energy in ensuring that the planning approval was secured for one of their first battery storage sites.
We provided detailed advice on how to mitigate potential noise pollution, which was critical in the planning process. We are delighted to report that the site is now operational and has been instrumental in keeping the lights on in Blackpool since January 2023.
The noise assessment involved several stages, including: Baseline noise monitoring, noise modelling, noise mapping and mitigation measures.
